Slacking on the blog front...

So I've been a little bit pants at updating the blog! My excuse is that I've just started a new job, we have just sold the house and things have been a little hectic, plus I've had quite a few orders for handmade cards recently so time has been against me.

I had a successful time at the craft fair in Marshall's Yard, Gainsborough a few weekends ago, and it was a good learning experience for me.

I have a great offer to share with you all too. Buy a qualifying Christmas bundle from Stampin' Up! before 29th December and you'll receive a ribbon spool absolutely free! Click the image below to see more...

Bundle Up For Christmas

Hopefully I'll be back in a few days with some photos of my recent projects

Get well soon

Sorry for the absence, time is short at the moment still (yes, more bedtime troubles with the little one)

So I've had to make a get well soon card for a friend and colleague who is currently suffering from pneumonia and now pleurisy too :( Hurry up and get well Andy, work isn't the same without you!

This is made using green cardstock from the new Subtles pack watermarked with Versamark ink, then I've used the Trendy Trees set with Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi and Cherry Cobbler. This is definitely my favourite stamp set, it's just so cute!

New card

So I got busy and made a couple of cards over the past few nights. This is the first - a birthday card for my nephew Thomas who will be 3 soon :)
I used the Trendy Trees set and Fox & Friends on various bits of subtles card stock, and some cute buttons from my stash. I've had fun using these stamp sets and they're so super cute!

IT'S HERE!!!!! New Idea Book & Catalogue launched today!

I'm so excited to finally annouce the new catalogue is here! It's been hard to sit on this, I've had a copy for a little while and it's cram packed with lovely new things. Speak to your bank manager now because you're going to have a BIG wish list! I'm sad to see some items retired but trust me, it's worth it when you see the new book.

Click on the image below to see the virtual catalogue or send me an email to purchase your own physical copy for £3.99 inc postage - it's great to have on your craft table to flick through for ideas.

There are the new colours to see which are gorgeous, the new easy-to-store punch design from the last mini catalogue, new designer paper sets, oh and CLEAR MOUNT stamps! So excited, I started my stamping with clear mounts so I can't wait to get my hands on some with the famous Stampin' Up! quality. The acrylic blocks have the little finger grooves round the outside like the wood blocks so they're more comfortable to hold.

I'm hoping to organise some special offers for you over the weekend so watch this space! I'll also try to get pics up of samples.

Anyway, enough rambling, you just want to see the catalogue:

1st Christmas Card!

At long last, I have finally completed the first Christmas card of the year! I just took delivery of a heat gun so I was desperate to try it out - I grabbed a SU Love Note, a little piece of their card stock, stamped an image from Fun and Fast Notes and then heat embossed with silver powder. Simple but so effective, and really fun to do!

Busy busy busy

Yesterday we had an unexpected house viewing (long story!) so I didn't get anything done except mounting my new stamps. I swapped 3 of the starter kit sets for different ones so I have received Trendy Trees, Fox & Friends, Simply Said and Fun & Fast Notes.

I'm really desperate to get stamping but I thought I'd better do some business work tonight - I've added some links to the blog for the catalogues and the last chance list. If there's anything you want to order from the last chance list, hurry up! You only have till 30th September and then they're gone for good!

Drop me an email to sarah.rydel@gmail.com with your order :)

Last Chance List

Monday, 20 September 2010

Hi! My first post

Thank you for stopping by! I'm a newly signed up Stampin' Up! demonstrator so I've set up this blog to show you the great things available, do some scrapbook layouts and card ideas and hopefully get to know some lovely customers. I will try to update regularly so please follow me!

My starter kit should be delivered by our UPS man today so I will show you the lovely stuff later on tonight if my son gives me enough chance! (We moved him from a cot to his "big boy bed" a week or so ago and it's a bit hit and miss at the moment...)
I will also try to post info about the last chance list - some things are being discontinued as of 30th September to make way for scrumptious new lines in the new catalogue for 1st October. So it's a case of get them while you still can!

If you know SU! products and want to order, please drop me a line or an email and I'll be happy to help
